Indeed, talking about the men of the establishment is the same as talking about the books that appeared at their hands, and this is an interesting and useful conversation for specialists in this field. And we walked through this abyss, riding the difficulty and the humiliation, and if success is our ally and success awaits us, and all credit belongs to God, Glory be to Him, to Him be praise and gratitude first and foremost.

The adventure in achieving the “Sir” has ended in success, praise be to God, and just as obedience is followed by another obedience, so success is followed by another success…

The “Biography of the Nobles” was a leading school in bringing together a group of brilliant investigators who had the main role in showing the “biography” in a wonderful scientific form and an ingenious and useful recipe that pleases every lover of heritage who is keen on it…

And with the existence of this blessed school, the idea of unified collective action in realizing the heritage was rooted in us as if it were the work of one man, and that was within the foundations and rules that were established when working in “Al-Sir” ..

The books that were our first publications met with wide success among scholars and the public, and this success exceeded the expectations of the “Foundation” at the time, which prompted it to expand work and embark on giant projects such as “Tahdheeb al-Kamal” by Hafiz Abi al-Hajjaj Jamal al-Din al-Mazi, and “Sharh Mushkil al-Athar” by Abi Jaafar al-Tahawi, and “Sahih Ibn Hibban” and others….

In the year nineteen nineteen thousand one thousand 1990

The first ten years since the establishment of the Investigation Bureau were full of valuable and reference works in their field, but their zodiac was hovering in an orbit that had not yet realized its intent and purpose, until God permitted, so He guided the eyes to aspire to carry out the project of the nation, the project of the book (Musnad of Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal). And from it towards the modern encyclopedia in its entirety of its six and nine approved books.

Many are the efforts that have departed from mere contemplation of the work in this great book, and those concerns that confronted it have become few and they collide with the reality of the greatness of the task and the impossibility of achieving it.

Yes, the work plan was very large, complex, and long, according to the capabilities and technologies available at the time.

Recalling this moment now brings to mind those days when we were planning to achieve the book “Siyar A’lam al-Nubala” by galvanizing motivation and distributing and differentiating energies.

With all these difficulties, the “Musnad of Imam Ahmad project” formed a team of sixty distinguished scholars, and the tremendous, continuous and diligent efforts were distributed over ten years, so that its outcome in the year 2000 AD was an edition of the Musnad of Imam Ahmad. What distinguishes “Musnad Imam Ahmad” is that its achievement was not like the achievement of any other book, but rather the work in it is creating a new language, and a contemporary alphabet with all its letters, punctuation, grammar and rhetoric..

What also distinguishes “Al-Musnad” is that its realization is an important step on the path to the work of the Great Hadith Encyclopedia. Because there is no hadith – mostly – that does not have an origin in this «Musnad».

What about the investigation office in the Al-Resala Foundation?
The Investigation Office at the Al-Risala Foundation, after it had the experiences of teamwork within one team in (Biography of the Nobles) and other subsequent works, and after it had this new alphabet in (Musnad of Imam Ahmad), which gave it tremendous experiences, and a large archive of information. And the development of work tools: it has risen to become a mere investigative office into (Al-Resala Center for Studies and Heritage Investigation).
